Royal Jewellery - Empress Josephine’s Emerald Tiara
Originally made for Napoléon Bonaparte’s first wife, Empress Josephine, therefore the name, by the french jeweler Bapst. It consist of geometric emeralds surrounded by diamonds. It was originally a swedish royal piece of jewelry until Princess Märtha of Sweden, daughter of Prince Carl and Princess Ingeborg of Sweden, married Crown Prince Olav of Norway. It’s currently owned by Queen Sonja of Norway.
